 The "Forum" is a section of this website where forum members can post questions or comments about Indian Motorcycles, Motorcycle Events, Parts and Accessories, IRG/IIRA Club or Chapter information or just about anything dealing with Indian motorcycles. Forum Registration is free.

I only have one rule which I will enforce - Show some respect to your fellow Indian Riders and no Trash talk. This forum will not degenerate into the slugfest that the other forum has become. If you have a comment to make, then make it rationally and factually. No name calling, no Trash talk. If you can't respect the members here then go somewhere else. The Terms of Service for this forum will lay this out in more detail.

There are a few FAQs I'd like to highlight here:

Q. I sometimes get an "Invalid Service ID" error when posting a message. Why ?
A: When you login to the forum, you are assigned a session ID. This ID is tied to your IP address and the web page you happen to be viewing. The purpose of the ID is to prevent someone from 'pretending to be you' and posting messages which seem to come from you (but which you know nothing about). In order for this to work, your Browser MUST have Cookies enabled. In addition, you're likely to see this error if you're an AOL user and you take a long time to compose a message. AOL can change your IP address 'on the fly' and this invalidates your session ID. If you flip back and forth between web pages and even other Applications, your session ID can be invalidated, so - don't do that when composing a message. If you get an "invalid session ID" error, you will have to login again. I am working on a fix for this but for right now this is a limitation of the forum.

Q: Can I use a custom avatar ?
A: Yes. This forum will allow you to upload your own avatar as either a JPEG or GIF file. The picture must be no larger then 80x80 pixels and must be less then 20k bytes in size.

Q: Is there a Photo Album where I can show off my Chief / Scout / Spirit ?
A: Yes. Email a picture (JPEG preferred) to IndianChief@TXIndianRiders.com and I'll add you to the album ASAP. You can look at the album by clicking the "Member Photo Album" link on the home page.
